Flowist (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an RSS reader app. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the app.
1. Data We Process
Flowist may process the following data to provide core functionality:
- RSS feed URLs and feed titles you add
- Article metadata (title, link, publish date, summary, image URL)
- App usage state (read/unread status, favorites, display preferences)
- Optional sync data via your iCloud account (if iCloud sync is enabled)
2. How Data Is Used
- To fetch and display RSS content
- To save your reading state and preferences
- To sync your data across your Apple devices via iCloud (if enabled)
3. Analytics, Tracking, and Ads
Flowist does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal data. Flowist does not track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.
4. Data Storage
- Data is stored locally on your device.
- If iCloud sync is enabled, relevant app data is stored in your private iCloud container.
5. Third-Party Content
Articles and links shown in Flowist come from third-party RSS publishers. Their websites and privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You can remove feeds, clear app data, or uninstall the app at any time. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion may also sync across your devices.
7. Children’s Privacy
Flowist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
